so2013opWith half the world now enjoying Christmas Eve day elves around the world are beginning to take up their stations and check in at the North Pole.

Santa has spotter elves stationed in thousands of places around the world. Their purpose is two-fold: to report local conditions to the North Pole and to provide eye-witness reports of Santa as he makes his visits.

By prearrangement the Tracking Center is accepting check-in calls from these elves and ticking them off one by one on a large whiteboard set up in the tracking center. Santa wants all these elves in place before he launches some seven hours from right now.

Where it is Christmas Eve Day: Vanuatu, Tonga, New Zealand, Australia
