Just like everywhere else in the world the North Pole is getting ready for a Christmas Eve party. It is a most unique kind of celebration, however. It may be the only Christmas Eve party that tracks Santa from start to finish.

The usual plan is that elves will begin gathering with Mrs. Claus at the Claus residence shortly after Santa takes off. As each department completes their work they head on over for the party. So it gets bigger and bigger as the day goes on. There are a lot of games played, a lot of music and, of course, plenty of good food. But the elves hang on every word coming from Kringle Radio and they cheer Santa at every stop.

Right now the tables are being set up and I can see some elves taking in Christmas lights and other decorations to make the place festive.

We’ll be checking in on the party many times over the course of the next couple of days.
