While children in Australia and New Zealand are right now in the early morning hours of Christmas Eve days the kids in the west are still a full day away and are watching other areas of the world enjoy their countdown to Santa.

For West Coast kids it can be a long wait.

I received an email from Pablo in Mexico a little while ago who said he would spend this day-before-Christmas-Eve fishing with his father in the Pacific Ocean. He knows that when he looks west out over the water there are kids on the other side of that ocean who are preparing for Santa — and he’s just a little envious of them.

Thanks for the email, Pablo. And enjoy the day with your father!
