24 Hours to Santa’s Launch

The North Pole Command Center officially announces the final countdown to Santa’s launch 24 hours from now. Flight control reports all systems are go and conditions are good for Santa’s flight.

“The next 24 hours are very important,” Elf Quinton said. “Santa’s sleigh is being prepared even as I speak. It is not quite ready yet. We suspect it will be several hours before it is out of the sleigh barn, ready for the reindeer to be hitched up.”

Speaking of reindeer, Elf Victor will not disclose the location of Santa’s A-Team of reindeer: Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen and Rudolph. He only says they are resting comfortably after a good work shift yesterday. There are no plans for them today other than rest and good eating with lots of water.

Meanwhile, the airlift announced hours ago continues. Santa’s workshop continues to work at this hour as the time winds down for Santa’s departure. In a few hours we expect to receive news of plans being made for the North Pole Christmas Party which usually kicks off when Santa take flight.

As for Santa himself, he is asleep at the present time with plans to wake in a few hours. He plans to leave with Mrs. Claus later today to visit sick children who have not yet had a chance to visit with him this Christmas.
