Excited elves working in the Tracking Center and the North Pole newsroom said that in a meeting today Santa made a promise to take time to do a live radio interview on Christmas Eve. We don’t know where or when this will be happening but Santa promised to do it at least once. You’ll just have to listen to Kringle Radio during Santa’s flight to hear him speak from the sleigh.

Meanwhile, elves in the News Department are eagerly awaiting their assignments. We’re pretty certain elves Frank and Crash will be back in the same roles they performed last year. Frank will be at the North Pole newsdesk and Crash will be the “eye-in-the-sky” reporter following Santa’s sleigh again. Santa is meeting with other elves today to determine who else will be on the broadcast team this year.

We’ll make that announcement as soon as we know.

The Tracking Department is going all out this year to see that fresh news is available for broadcast anywhere in the world. They are moving equipment now to every continent and elves are being trained in the art of being interviewed on the radio. They don’t know when or where or even if it might happen but most are pretty excited by the prospect. The Tracking Department will be sending out thousands of elves to serve as “spotters” in about a week.
