South Pole Prepares for Flight Operations

Santa TrackingLast year the South Pole played a critical role in the success of Operation Merry Christmas.

If you recall, there was an epic blizzard at the North Pole last year that prevent normal support crews from assisting Santa. It is quite normal for the North Pole to launch support sleighs to shuttle things both to and for Santa during his flight. They bring supplies to help Santa and the reindeer. Those support flights have always been anchored at the North Pole, as they will be this year.

It is not expected that the South Pole will play a big part in this year’s flight. But they are prepared to help in any way that Santa requires them. They have extra reindeer, extra sleighs, and extra elves stationed there prepared to serve Santa in any way.

Santa is a stickler for preparation.
