Tracking Department Gets Busy

Despite it being Christmas in July and the fact that Toyvember is underway a team of elves in leadership at the North Pole decided to get to work today on their efforts in the Tracking Department.

As you know, the Tracking Department is one of the largest departments at the North Pole.

They have one job: get Santa launched on time, help him in every way to deliver around the world, then get him safely back home.

That job requires a massive coordination of reindeer, freight and trackers around the world.

As you also know, Santa made the big announcement the other day about the number of trackers he is going to need.

Today in the meetings held at the Tracking Department plans were discussed about how to find all the new elves needed to get the job done. Soon you will see more details coming out on SantaTrackers.net and other North Pole websites like this one that support the effort.

We also remind you that two chats were held over the weekend with Santa and with me, Elf Ernest. You can read the archive of Santa’s chat here — and the archive of my chat here.

And finally, our Christmas in July today includes an eggnog chugging contest. There will be a lot of really full tummies here later tonight.
