42 Weeks Until Christmas

42 Weeks Until Christmas

42 weeks until Christmas! Yay!

Hi Friends. Trixie here. I’m trying not to be sad today.

First of all, head over to the podcast section of the site and listen to the new episode Elves Frank and Crash have finally put out. It’s all about what happens at the North Pole after Christmas.

Second of all, what they talk about is part of the reason I’m feeling a little sad.

You see, we have been seeing a lot of the reindeer leave the North Pole the past few weeks. So many have left that things look a little empty over at the reindeer barn.

I know I told you that my reindeer, Trixie, wouldn’t be going back home this Spring because she’s attending the Reindeer Academy.

But I just learned that part of her training at the Reindeer Academy includes a 4-week course on survival training. She won’t be going home but she will be going to Greenland for a month to explore in the wilderness.

I’ve been told not to worry because she will be with a team of reindeer receiving this training. And she will, of course, have a guide with her. I have been promised that she will be safe.

I’m just so crazy sad that I don’t get to see her.

I really don’t like this. These are lonely months at the North Pole and I know we need to go through this time of year just to enjoy the great Christmas we always have here but I didn’t think it would be this bad.

I’m starting to eat a lot of chocolate and that’s NOT good.

Anyway.

I got a new assignment. Well, kind of. I told you last week about SantaTrackers.net. Well, I’ve got new work there.

I’d tell you all about it but they told me I need to tell you over there.

Sooooooo….see ya there.
