The North Pole Plans for a Busy Week

The North Pole has a busy week ahead. Today is just a brief break before all that lies ahead.

The North Pole

Monday is St. Nicholas Day, which is a big event at the North Pole. Santa Claus is, of course, a big fan of St. Nicholas and most people at the North Pole remember him on his day, the 6th of December every year.

Even though Santa himself is not spending much time at the North Pole during this month of Christmas he is not absent from every event that takes place. He will be visiting sometime this week to meet with the reindeer and to recognize Donner for his big win at the Reindeer Games.

The Elf Choir has a concert later this week and it is a sold out event. There is talk that the Choir Concert may be recorded for the purposes of putting out an album of Christmas music. That rumor has not been confirmed but it is the wish of most Elf Choir members that it happen one day.

A chat for Tracker Elves will be held TODAY at SantaTrackers.net. The chat is called the Elf Supervisors Meeting and it is a chance for trackers around the world to get to know their elf supervisors better. There is a rumor going around that Santa Tracker elves will be given their first assignments this week. With less than 20 days now until Santa launches this would not be a surprise at all.

The news coming out daily may require us to publish more than once per day. It’s just that time of year. So check back often.

In today’s North Pole Radio News report, Elves Frank and Crash discuss why Sundays are a day of rest at the North Pole and why Santa insists on that even during times like this when things are so busy. Click the player below to listen to that report.
