The Walk of Christmas Lights
It has been a full day of Thanksgiving events at the North Pole capped by the Walk of Christmas Lights led by Santa himself.
After the big Thanksgiving luncheon Santa leads the entire village on The Walk of Christmas Lights, a tour of North Pole Village homes all lit up for the first time this season. Why are the lit up for the first time? Because there’s a big lighting contest that Santa and the crowds judge as they go home to home.
Nearly every home gets up for this contest and the competition for the top prize is quite fierce.
It is a very popular activity, one that ends with Santa at his workshop just after midnight, where he presses a button that begins to lower the big countdown clock in the atrium. That clock falls minute by minute, hour by hour and day by day from the high ceiling before it lands nearly at the floor during a specified hour on December 23rd when Santa launches.

Thank you, Elf Harold! I wonder who won the lighting contest. Operation Merry Christmas to goal has started! We’re gradually excited more and more with the countdown. I heard everything is going well, so I hope to keep it up! I’m glad to work for Santa with all of the elves at the North Pole and around the world! XD
