Santa Update

Santa UpdateGreetings all! Today is the 24th day of the month and that means our countdown is down to just 11 months until Christmas. Can you believe it? Where does the time ago?

Life since last Christmas has moved on fully at the North Pole. We had a good rest and play period between Christmas and New Years Day. But then Santa had us right back to work. There is so much to be done.

We held a lot of meetings right after New Years. We do that every year. We examine the past Christmas season in detail in those meetings. We look at what went wrong, what went right and what we could do better.

Then we got down to the business of making plans for 2020. It’s going to be a great year!

Santa met with each department. He wanted to make sure that we had solid plans in place for the whole year. Of course, that’s because he knew he would be gone on walkabout.

I hope you’re following along with Santa’s walkabout. Elf Winslow just sent in his first report the other day. It’s a good read. You should check it out.

But with Santa gone that means the rest of us need to be focused on meeting the goals we set with Santa.

For me, that means bringing you the news of the North Pole better than last year. Actually, Elf Winslow’s reports from Santa’s walkabout will be part of that effort. But there is much more we want to do and over the course of the year you will see that.

Other departments are doing the same thing. They are trying to do things better and faster.

We don’t know when Santa will be coming home. But when he does we all want to make sure he is pleased and that he feels we are ready for the season ahead.

What about you? What are you doing to be ready for Christmas 2020? You can now comment on the posts we share here on Santa Update (that’s another new improvement that was part of our goals for this year). So feel free to tell us what you think!
