Kids Urged to Use Stocking Mail to Get Letters to Santa

I hadn’t stopped by the mail room in a couple of days so I headed over there first thing this morning to see what was going on. I was happy to see that most of the mail bags had been emptied but there were still a few sitting around. I tracked down Elf Hugo to see how things were going.

“The volume of mail coming in has fallen off some now and that has given us a chance to get caught up.” Hugo told me. “We are not completely caught up but we should be by the end of tomorrow. We are pretty late in the game now and the kids realize that it’s too late to send in letters by regular mail. They really need to use stocking mail at this point.”

“Using stocking mail is simple” Hugo told me. “All you have to do is write out your letter and place it in your stocking before you go to bed. Then overnight your letter will be transported to the North Pole. I can’t explain exactly how it happens but it involves the northern lights and the magic of Christmas.”

So, kids, you’ve been warned. To be guaranteed that your letter will get to Santa in time use stocking mail from now until Christmas.
