Some Christmas in July Events Cancelled
The North Pole has taken the unusual step of cancelling some planned Christmas in July events.

Weekday events planned for later this month – the Water Balloon Battle, the annual North Pole Square Dance and the Paddle Board Races at Gingerbread Hill Resort have all been cancelled for this year.
These are all popular events that are always well attended.
No official reason has been given for the cancellations.
Rumors of big demands on elf time for projects at North Pole Flight Command are widespread. The test flights of Santa’s sleigh are on track and are soon to leave the North Pole.
But earlier today North Pole Flight Command announced a very, very large order for new sleighs Santa has approved. The sleighs are not for Santa but for the Distribution Department, which oversees Operation Airlift on Christmas Eve.
Some are suggesting that the order represents a lot of work that will require the Department of Elf resources to hire more elves. The demand is so great that some departments have already cancelled any elf vacation plans and time-off requests effective immediately and through the end of the year.
The North Pole News department is investigating just how many elf teams at the North Pole might be affected.

Thank you, Elf Harold! I hope the elves can understand the cancellation of the events, and they are still having fun this month. Thank you, Elf Crash and Frank! Wow, many sleighs Santa ordered! I wonder whether the sleighs are the same design or not and they will be tested for delivering presents or Santa’s sleigh. Have a great day and Happy Christmas in July! 🎅🛷🦌🗺🎄
