28 Weeks Until Christmas
Now there are 28 weeks until Christmas. It feels much later than that.
First of all, these test flights of Santa’s sleigh are really making people nervous. I cannot remember a time when everyone was talking about the test flights like this. It’s only June!
But to hear some of these elves talk you would think Santa’s never going to get off the ground this year.
They are really making a big deal about how the sleigh is doing.
Elf Crash tells me to not believe them. He says it’s normal for a new sleigh design to have struggles and setbacks.
I don’t know. I’m too busy with other things to concern myself too much.
Like rice.
You know when they throw rice at a couple at the end of a wedding?
Well, evidently we can’t have it at Trixie’s and Micks’ wedding.
Dieticians in the Reindeer Department warn that if we throw rice all the reindeer will eat it. And normally that wouldn’t be a big deal for average reindeer but I guess it is a big no-no for reindeer who are getting ready to fly for Santa in a few months.
The Reindeer Operations Department doesn’t want any rice thrown at the wedding.
But The Mighty Mick does.
I guess it’s a tradition in his family. He feels some feelings might be hurt if we skip it.
What do we do? What do we do? What do we do???!!!!!!
I’m telling you guys, this rice thing is stressing me out.

Wow, well this is news to me, I haven’t been here in a while. Sorry your stressing of the rice thing but I think they have a reasonable explanation for the rice tradition. Maybe you guys could do something else that represents the rice thing but with a different thing? Maybe leaves, chopped up carrots, etc. Hope this helps!😅
Thank you, Elf Trixie! I understand people who worry about the test sleigh because we can’t see it. And then they start thinking of the sleigh worse, too much thinking. I think it’ll be okay after the test Flight starting that makes good results. Oh, too much rice is not good for reindeer. If so, how about another one instead like flowers, ribbons, feathers, colored paper, bubbles, snow flakes, etc? I hope Trixie and Mick have fun,
and elves don’t make themselves think too much.
