Visiting Elf Program Launches
As mentioned last month, the North Pole is taking steps to address Visiting Elves, or, as some commonly call them, the Elf on the Shelf.
We want to help believers of all ages to have a better elf experience in their homes. Therefore, Santa has authorized the Department of Elf Resources to establish a Visiting Elf Registry.
Through this new office you can:
1. Register your elf
2. Inquire after the status of your elf
3. Request a search for a missing elf
These services are free for all registered users of Santa Update. Additional Visiting Elf Services will be announced soon and will be made available in the North Pole Club.
We will be working through the North Pole News Department to share additional information and news relative to Visiting Elves.
These are just the start of our efforts to lower believer frustration with their elves and to improve the celebration of the season in the home.
Elf Sandy Claus, director of the Department of Elf Resources, has announced the following staff additions to the Elf Registry office:
Elf Buddy McFudge is the new Director of Visiting Elves, overseeing the program, it’s policies and elf staff.
Elf Rosalie Pickins will continue in her work in the Elf Registrar, adding Visiting Elves to her already considerable workload. She is responsible for maintaining records as they pertain to Visiting Elves.
Elf Nico Figgypop will chair the new Visiting Elf Assignment Desk. His job and that of his staff is to assign, monitor, and evaluate elf performance in the Visiting Elf role.
Elf Butch Winky will oversee Elf Locator efforts with a team of investors and elf professionals formerly of the North Pole Security Department.
In addition, Elf Fluffy Fuzzyfeet, who has served for years in Elf Code enforcement, will have added staff to ensure all registered Visiting Elves are routinely certified in the Elf Code and have taken the Elf Oath.
We encourage you to review the new information posted by the North Pole about Visiting Elves. More will be coming in the weeks and months ahead.
We remind you that our efforts here are not for wayward Visiting Elves alone. If you have a dedicated and loyal Visiting Elf please register them with the North Pole. The bigger the registry to more Santa is able to help influence their activities for good to ensure a merrier Christmas for everyone.
Finally, Santa has directed that the Elf Project at ElfHQ.com remain active and that we continue to survey believers about their elf experience.
In addition, we will be providing on-site feedback forms as well as sending occasional evaluations (likely after Christmas) to those who register their elves.
