Sleighs, Reindeer and Pilots
The sudden large new sleigh order placed with the Sleigh Department has unleashed a flurry of activity in several North Pole departments.

The Department of Elf Resources has put out an urgent call for experienced sleigh pilots.
After conferring with Santa, the Distribution Department, Elf Roger Star at North Pole Flight Command and officials from the local sleigh pilot union, job postings went up and hiring is now active.
They are looking for up to 1000 additional sleigh pilots who could be pressed into service as part of Operation Airlift on Christmas Eve.
The Reindeer Operations Department put out notices yesterday, too.
Last year nearly 70,000 reindeer were used as part of Operation Merry Christmas – a record that nobody expected to ever be broken.
That record could fall this year.
Elf Victor reports that he’s targeting 100,000 reindeer total to help support the potential extra flight duty that 3500 new sleighs would require.
A crew of 40 reindeer specialists have been sent to Santa’s reindeer ranches around the world to see where more reindeer could be found.
Meanwhile, at Flight Command, Santa is hosting a Logistics conference with head elves of various North Pole Department to discuss changes to flight routines and to Operation Airlift anticipated for this year.

Thank you, Elf Harold! Wow, they need 1000 sleigh pilots! Are they all the elves at the North Pole? I wonder if they have a sleigh pilot school there.
Thank you, Elves Frank and Crash! Is Frank okay? I thought that his voice sounded too hurt. I hope he gets better soon. Yeah, Operation Airlift needs a preparation period. I hope 3,500 sleighs, 1,000 pilots, and 100,000 reindeer will be a great team for their logistics.
Happy Christmas in July to everyone! 🗺🎄🦌🛷🎅
