Halloween Costume Contest Announced
The North Pole Halloween Committee, the group assigned to arrange the North Pole Halloween Party, has once again approved a contest site users at Santa Update.com can participate in – the Halloween Costume Photo Contest.
Details will be posted soon concerning entry details and deadlines. Several prizes are planned for this year’s contest.
The Halloween Party at the North Pole is a much anticipated event. Elves take brief time away from their work to create very sophisticated and some time complex Halloween costumes.
The come to the North Pole Halloween Party, held at the North Pole Village Events Center, with the goal on NOT being recognized by their fellow elves.
Usually, most are successful in that, due to the complex and detailed nature of their costumes.
Santa and Mrs. Claus are also well known for coming to the Halloween party in some sort of matching costume based on a theme. In the past we have seen them show up as pirates, clowns, Batman and Batgirl, and in other clever disguises.
The contest was a new idea last year and pictures that were sent in were actually displayed at the North Pole Halloween Party on a huge monitor. The elves loved the addition of your photos of creative costumes.
