Do you have an Elf on the….you know, one those elves that visit your house before Christmas?

Wouldn’t it be nice to get to know them a little better? Do you want to learn more about them? Have exchanges with them? Enjoy the Elf Experience a little better?

The Department of Elf Resources at the North Pole is your connection to managing your elf.

All elves love to have fun. But genuine elves who work for Santa must follow the Elf Code and take the Elf Oath.

2026 Visiting Elf Timeline

Enrollment Period
August 1 – November 22
Visiting Elf Assignment
- Your Elf Services Dashboard will be set up within 3 days of purchasing your Elf Services through the North Pole Club.
- Your elf will be assigned between now and November 1st.
- If your elf is returning from a previous year, it may take a few weeks to locate, certify and schedule the arrival of your elf. The date of assignment could take a few weeks.
Elf Activation
- Your elf will be active in your home starting November 25th
- Your elf will have a theme for each day designed to celebrate the season, inform of Christmas traditions, suggest Christmas activities and integrate everything with the news of Santa and the North Pole from right here on Santa Update.
Elf Flexibility
Santa wants a customized elf experience for you. If there are changes to your schedule or special requests that we can accommodate the channel of communication between believers, your elf and the Office of Visiting Elves at the North Pole.
Elf Evaluation
- Your help is requested in evaluating your elf after Christmas. This helps us prepare him or her for the next elf assignment.
