Annual Eggnog Pancake Breakfast

The Annual Eggnog Pancake Breakfast, hosted by Santa and Mrs. Claus, kicked off the Christmas in July festivities at the North Pole today.

Elves and their families took time away from their mid-week work schedules to show up in flip-flops and swimsuits for a warm summer day at the North Pole for games and contests in the park.

The breakfast, featuring Santa’s secret pancake recipe suspiciously flavored by eggnog, is a very popular event and most elves won’t miss it.

Santa himself was at the head of a line of griddles that produced stacks and stacks of pancakes for hungry elf participants. Besides those very famous pancakes the breakfast featured scrambled eggs, Mrs. Claus’ summer blueberry muffins, and Elf Crash’s frothy chocolate milk.

For the first time in many, many years the breakfast party was attended by hundreds of reindeer who are already at the North Pole. While the announcement of the official return of the reindeer has not yet been made there are nevertheless many reindeer already present at the North Pole to aid in the test flights of Santa’s sleigh.

This event is the first of many at the North Pole during the month of July. While elf vacation season has ended Santa tries to give the North Pole workforce some downtime during the month of July because the busiest months of Operation Merry Christmas are ahead of us.

Other events for July will include the Annual North Pole swim party featuring a dunking booth and a world class squirt gun battle, the annual replay of the Tracking Santa Around the World radio show on Kringle Radio, chat with Santa in North Pole Chat, and the annual North Pole BBQ featuring a dutch oven cook-off and the annual elf toss.

This does remain a time of great work as well as every North Pole Department has goals to meet during the month of July. Eyes are on the test flights of Santa’s sleigh and the build out of regional tracking centers worldwide so that tracking Santa for Santa can begin.

Hello Elf Trixie, may I make a suggestion? Can you post Santa’s secret pancake recipe with ALL ingredients and measurements. This could create a “great stir.”(pun intended)
I’m sure there are many believers that would love to try Santa’s secret pancakes themselves and share among family and friends. Thank you.

Thank you, Elf Trixie! Merry Christmas in July! Awesome!! I wish I could try Santa and Mrs. Claus’s pancakes and other delicious foods! I’m so glad to hear about those events. I’m curious about the contest, too. I hope the elves at the North Pole are having a lot of fun, and also I can join with elves and reindeer someday.
