Flight analysts at North Pole Flight Command were asked their predictions for Santa’s flight for Christmas 2025. They predicted that Santa could break yet another record.

Santa's Sleigh

The annual Tracking Santa Symposium sponsored by the International Society of Test Flight Pilots gathers around this time each year to discuss Santa’s annual Christmas flight.

Famed flight analyst Wilbur Boeing was asked during a panel discussion about Santa’s flight this year. He said that based on what information he knows about Santa’s new sleigh (currently in test flights over Sector 5), what is known about the reindeer and of Santa’s flight plans for Christmas 2025 he remains “cautiously optimistic” that Santa could set a new speed record for the 3rd year in a row.

“Santa has beat that 30-hour threshold two years running now,” Elf Wilbur said. “If he beats it this year, that’s three in a row and the 30-hour mark is no longer a threshold that has eluded him for decades. It’s the new norm.”

What could such a performance mean for believers tracking Santa?

“It would be mean earlier bedtimes on Christmas Eve,” Elf Roger Star, director of North Pole Flight Command, said. “Earlier bedtimes on Christmas Eve could shift Christmas Eve traditions for millions of people.”

Santa has famously arrived earlier and earlier each year since 2016, which is coincidentally the same year the tracker elf program was launched by Santa and North Pole Flight Command. Since that time Santa’s performance has only improved.

Thank you, Elf Harold! And thank you for the episode, Elves Frank and Crash! I remember that the bedtime adverise in my area was 7:30 PM once. I’m curious about what time Santa will get to my house this Christmas Eve, but I know that I will know it after Santa came to my house because his sleigh speed is faster every year. I’ll work only for Santa with the elves and you all! I look forward to hearing the next episode soon. Merry Christmas! 🦌🎅🎄
