Tracker Elves to Be Pressed into Service

Tracker elves will be pressed into service to help with the Crisis in Santa’s Workshop, according to Elf Crash Murphy, the International Director of Santa Trackers, who mentioned it in North Pole Chat today. The North Pole Chat covered a wide range of topics including what it is like at the North Pole, whether Santa would come for the chat in October and what the Crisis in Santa’s Workshop means for all elves.

Crash Murphy	But there will be a lot of sleigh activity in the coming days and weeks
Crash Murphy	As trackers we are going to be asked for a lot of weather reports for sure
ElfLubert	I have a question, bit random but what is it like in the north pole?
Crash Murphy	But there might be some localized reports they will need for common flight corridors

Crash Murphy	I met with the Elf Supervisors yesterday
Crash Murphy	Each Sector will be a little different in their needs
Crash Murphy	But as trackers we will be doing a few things different than we are used to, especially in October

Crash Murphy	The workshop is really behind but it is NOT their fault
Crash Murphy	They feel bad but it is not their fault they have not had what they need to do their jobs

Crash Murphy	They are late. Not broken. We will get them the stuff they need to build toys and if we need to we will put more elves in the workshop to get it done so Santa can deliver
Elf Ulan	Thank you, hows the weather there and the Urute Squad and other reindeer for the spesial teams?
Crash Murphy	The weather is pretty bad, to be honest. Lots of early snow and wind. But it should not affect us.

Crash Murphy	As for the reindeer they are soon to get special assignments. I think they are all really going to be super busy.

Elf Frank Myrrh	Do you know, Crash, where the workshop needs it’s supplies from. I mean, what is in South America for the Brute Squad to go get?
Crash Murphy	The movies DEFINITELY do not get the North Pole right.

Crash Murphy	It’s true we have a lot of underground areas. But our underground areas are bright, we grow grass and we play a lot of sports.
ElfLubert	is santa really friends with other legendary figures?
Crash Murphy	Well, our dogs do not talk. They bark.
Crash Murphy	Santa is friends with people all over the world, not so much with the famous

Elf Ulan	Thank you, Elf Crash. how many the special sleigh teams they have? Do you think they would fly over around my country?
Crash Murphy	Well, there are dozens of special teams. Not all of them have Santa’s starting 9 in them
Crash Murphy	And yes, I think we’re going to see these super sleighs in the skies over Japan
Crash Murphy	I believe Japan, the Philippines, Taiwan are all source countries and there will be both sleigh and naval activity in those areas
Elf Frank Myrrh	So will Elf Randi have instructions for Sector 1?
Crash Murphy	Yes, and the test flights are headed to Sector 1.
Crash Murphy	Has that been announced yet?

Crash Murphy	Your Elf Supervisor will be posting up instructions. There will be different activity in different areas at different times over the next several weeks. I think Sector 1 will be one of the most active areas. But all areas are going to have needs.
Crash Murphy	Scotland….not sure. Maybe….coal?

Elf Frank Myrrh	Crash, we have a question in the mail from Elf Lilly in Sweden, who couldn’t be on the chat. She wants to know if this all means the Reindeer Games will be cancelled.
Crash Murphy	Oooh, I’m glad you asked that. The answer is that no, we think the reindeer can all get what needs to be moved to the North Pole done by the end of October
Crash Murphy	But that’s a great question because we asked it in our meetings too.
