Santa’s A-Team of reindeer – Rudolph, Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner and Blitzen – have been in quarantine at the Reindeer Barn for the past 10 days.

Santa's Reindeer

They are more than ready to take off with Santa.

10 days isolated from other reindeer and kept in fairly tight quarters after months of rather constant activity has made them so. Elf Ralph Rainey, a handler at Santa’s Stables charged with keeping the A-Team engaged in physical activities has said he is having a hard time keeping them occupied with no real purpose in mind.

Elf Victor today changed up their routine a little bit. After feeding them this morning Elf Victor directed Elf Dan Perry, a sleigh pilot, to transport Elf Crash Murphy to the SS Jingle Bell, the flagship of the North Pole Navy, and then back to the North Pole.

The reindeer have returned and are back resting at Santa’s Stables. Reportedly they will be moved soon under the direction of North Pole Flight Command to the Sleigh Barn where they will be housed until it is time for the launch of Santa’s sleigh.

Meanwhile, another team of reindeer have gone into quarantine, the backup team of reindeer. North Pole Flight Command announced yesterday who those reindeer are.
