The steady march of time has clock-watchers at the North Pole nervous and citizens of the world excited — at least for today. In the past few minutes, Christmas Eve has started in parts of Asia.
It is a small milestone, one that speaks more to the work to be done than the work that has been accomplished. Here at the North Pole heads are down, feet and hands are moving and all are concentrating on getting the job done. Hardly anyone noticed the announcement that is was Christmas Eve in Asia.
