Santa Suggests a Stocking Check

Santa Claus attended a meeting with top elves at the North Pole yesterday via a video call during a break in his visits with children. It is not uncommon for him to check in frequently with things at the North Pole.

Among the many items discussed was the readiness of homes with their Christmas trees and Christmas stockings.

Both Christmas trees and stockings are critical to Santa’s success on his annual delivery schedule.

Santa said he was confident that most Christmas trees would be ready for him to put Christmas gift under. But he expressed concern for the readiness of Christmas stockings.

Santa said that last year he noticed that some Christmas stockings were “getting a little worn out”.

Santa suggested that believers everywhere give their Christmas stocking a good inspection.

He said he likes to see Christmas stockings that are clean, custom decorated by hand, with names on them so he knows where to put the little things he brings.

Santa and his elf team did not really discuss what the North Pole could or should do to address Santa’s concern with Christmas trees and stockings.

Santa indicated that it would be okay for the News Department to publish news indicating his concern.
