Edible Gift Wrap Tested

Edible giftwrap has been tested in the Wrapping Department at the North Pole this year. The wrap has the consistency of thin fruit leather while having the sheen of full color traditional gift wrap.
Elf Harriet, head elf at the wrapping department, said the wrap has performed well in tests conducted in September.
Available in a variety of colors, the wrap features flavors such as candy cane, gingerbread, sugar cookie and, of course, eggnog.
Despite the successful test run of producing the gift wrap and using it on actual gifts Elf Harriet said it will not be used on any presents wrapped by the North Pole this year.
She warns believers everywhere NOT to try to eat any gift wrap this year.
Edible gift wrap has been an idea floated at the North Pole for years. The Research and Development Department, which most famously produces Santa’s new sleigh every year, has been working on the edible gift wrap project since the 1970s.

Oh my goodness! Thanks Elf Frank and Elf Crash. Edible Christmas wrapping paper does sound good and the Elves tasting it is very brave since they have been doing that since the 70s. Because it hasn’t worked out for us people what about animals? That is if you could find a way to test it without any harm. Good luck and don’t give up.
I would love edible gift wrap. Please keep testing this!
Thank you, Elf Harold! Wow, I didn’t know that edible gift wrap is from the North Pole! Thank you, Elf Crash. I wish they could find a sticky ingredient like cornstarch instead of sugar so they could keep the flavors. But if they can make nice flavors for the wrap, the family pets may eat them all fast. Elf Frank, I look forward to hearing the news. Merry Christmas! XD
hi everyone merry early Christmas.
