Weather Concerns Growing

Snow is a constant at the North Pole at this time of year. But today’s long-range forecast issued by the Weather Department at North Pole Flight Command gave Santa and senior elf leadership something of a shock.

North Pole Weather

The forecast is calling for a “snow-nado” scenario right around December 22nd with white out conditions forecast through December 27th, at least.

According to Elf Roger Star, head elf at North Pole Flight Command, it is not unheard of or even unusual for such conditions on Christmas Eve. In fact, in the past 20 years Santa has taken off in white out conditions 19 times.

But it is not Santa’s sleigh that flight planners are concerned about. Santa is the most expert sleigh pilot in the world, flying the most advanced sleigh with the most highly trained reindeer available anywhere.

“Santa is expected to fly in extreme conditions,” Elf Roger said. “He has the training, the talent and the tools to handle those situations. We’re not worried about Santa, his team or his sleigh” Elf Roger said.

The biggest concerns are for the sleighs of Operation Air Lift, which has already been working from the sleigh port at the North Pole since just after Thanksgiving.

“Operation Air Lift features thousands of sleighs constantly in flight, both now and during Santa’s flight,” Elf Roger explained. “Those sleighs engage in various missions in support of Santa. They fly all over the world, coming and going in a variety of conditions – IF they can take off from the North Pole. The weather has the potential to challenge those missions from being completed, and that’s going to possibly affect Santa.”

[…] reported earlier this week at SantaUpdate.com, the weather at the North Pole is having an impact on Operation […]

Thank you, Elf Harold! I was thinking about the weather at the North Pole because my country is getting cold, too. I only pray for Santa and Operation Air Lift sleighs to fly smoothly and safely. Santa is an expert pilot with experience in various weather conditions. But his sleigh is an open sleigh; I wonder if it can protect from any weather for Santa. I believe our tracker elves for Santa help him a lot, too! We need better elves, Santa hopes. Thank you, Elf Frank and Crash. I’ll check their posts and Elf Seymour’s post! Merry Christmas! XD

I love christmas

Oh my! Sounds dangerous but I know Santa he can make it! Right?…
