Christmas Devotional at the North Pole
It is a tradition on the final Sunday before Christmas for the community at the North Pole to gather for a devotional at the North Pole Chapel. Santa made a late night snowy return to be able to participate in the early morning service.
The Christmas devotional features a reading from Luke Chapter 2 and the singing of sacred Christmas hymns. The North Pole chapel was festively decorated in evergreens, red bows and gold tinsel.
Santa gave a brief talk on the power of giving and encouraged all in attendance to enjoy the giving they could do this year.
Both the Elf Choir and the North Pole Children’s Choir performed. The Elf Choir sang What Shall We Give to the Babe in the Manger?, while the Children’s Choir sang a beautiful version of The First Noel. Then both groups combined with the congregation to sing Silent Night.
Today is a day of minimal work at the North Pole. Santa’s Workshop and the North Pole Post Office are closed. However, due to the ongoing issues with the weather, North Pole Flight Command continues with Operation Airlift, snow removal crews remain hard at work, and, of course, teams of weather watchers remain on the job gathering weather data from around the world.
The Tracking Department at North Pole Flight Command activated all tracker elves tracking Santa for Santa yesterday. They remain on call today and we do anticipate some data flowing from trackers in the field.
Also, a crew in the News Department is on hand to keep you updated on late breaking developments. Check back frequently for updates.

Praying all goes safe and trouble free. Merry Christmas 🎄 ⁵
Wow
Thank you, Elf Harold! I am relieved that Santa returned to the North Pole and attended the Christmas devotional. I didn’t know that song the Elf Choir sang, but it’s beautiful! I wish I had been there. Thank you so much to the snow removal crews for their hard work. I want them to take a hot spring. Also, Thank you, the Flight Command! Please let us know if we can help with anything! I pray for all of you to work smoothly and safely until Santa returns to the North Pole. Merry Christmas! XD
