16 Weeks Until Christmas
Hi ho! Just 16 weeks to go until Christmas.
Wow, what a weird news time at the North Pole. The calendar flipped from August to September and we’ve had North Pole Radio News to share here everyday since the reindeer came back.
And there is another radio news report they have attached to my humble little countdown update here, too. That’s never happened before.
The news, of course, you likely already know. Sector 5 has a regional tracking center now and I’m happy to hear that because I’m from Sector 5 and my family all still lives there.
Like many others, this has been a little weird story for all of us Sector 5-ians to follow. I even had some in my family, including my Dad, who as you know wasn’t even a Santa believer until I came to the North Pole to go to college at Southern North Pole University, was starting to send me notes, telling me to get Santa to do something about it.
Well, he did!
I wonder if Dad called him.
Anyways, that’s not even what I wanted to talk about today. What I wanted to talk about is eggnog.
I’m becoming hooked.
I was never much of an eggnog fan until I got to the North Pole and now, after being here and seeing it served on tap at most North Pole food establishments, having it as a breakfast drink, a mid-day refresher and an evening beverage I can tell you I honestly put away gallons of the stuff.
Here’s the thing. It not only refreshes, it keeps me feeling warm and positive. I never noticed it until when I got a little cold and my sinuses were giving me such a bad attitude that I couldn’t be around people that day. I didn’t even want eggnog but it was all I had to drink besides water so I drank some. It didn’t clear my head but it sure as heckfire cleared up my attitude and that got me thinking.
I talked to Elf Carrie Watkins, who is a professor of nutrition at Southern North Pole University and she told me that yes, there was no surprise about the affect of eggnog on the disposition of an individual under duress. That was her fancy way of saying my theory about it helping my attitude was correct. Carrie also told me that North Pole eggnog in particular is good for keeping up the Christmas spirit.
So….I’ve not only stocked up on the stuff but I’ve been talking to Mrs. Claus about putting together an eggnog recipe workshop of some sort that we can publish to the masses. If eggnog can help me, it can help everyone and I think we should do it. This has become my pet project for this Christmas season.
Look for more details on this to come out soon.
Until then, drink whatever eggnog you can get your hands on!
Ta-ta!

Thank you, Elf Trixie. Congratulations to Central Minnesota for the Sector 5 Regional Tracking Center! I think Elf Crusader is so happy to hear that. I hope Elf Pinky and the team can start working smoothly and going well. I hope Elf Trixie has a wonderful Christmas with her family someday. Having eggnog is one of my dreams. I wish I could join the eggnog workshop there! I hope North Pole eggnog has people penetrate the Christmas spirit in their hearts. Merry Christmas! XD
Thank you for the update! I’m glad that Sector 5 finally has a Regional Tracking Center—and that you enjoy eggnog so much! I can’t say I’ve ever tried it before (I’m partial to hot chocolate myself), but maybe I should give it a try!
