Santa Resets the Countdown
A sleepy Santa Claus met with elves in the atrium at Santa’s workshop and reset the countdown clocks. Operation Merry Christmas 2026 is underway.
But life at the North Pole is hardly moving fast.
Santa, Mrs. Claus and all the elves and their family did have a large and festive Christmas party upon Santa’s return. But months of frantic work to overcome the crisis in Santa’s workshop followed by an intense Christmas Eve schedule that required max effort from every elf and reindeer has left the merry team at the North Pole exhausted.
Upon resetting the countdown clocks at the North Pole Santa declared a good two-week holiday for everyone at the North Pole. The time over the first weeks of Operation Merry Christmas 2026 will be filled with rest, recreation and recharging for the season ahead.
Then Santa will begin to organize an all new effort.
We thank you for your support in 2025. We hope you will return for our 35th year of tracking Santa online as a whole new story of the North Pole emerges in 2026. The news begins, as it always does, in January. There will be podcasts, chats, calendars and radio news reports that are all new.
