9 Months Until Christmas
Hi friends! There are now just 9 months until Christmas.
Changes are blowing in the wind here at the North Pole. Some of them I cannot tell you about yet.
I had a long conversation the other day with Elf Crash Murphy, our International Director of Santa Trackers.
He tells me that the tracking world needs to prepare for “large scale” change in the work of tracking Santa for Santa this year. But he told me that elves should not expect any announcements until Christmas in July this year.
In fact, if you track Santa for Santa, Crash says that no news will be released until Leon Day at the soonest. He said that on the advice of Santa no news will be offered, no chats will be held, and no announcements can be made until after that time.
I also had some conversation with Santa this week. He’s been meeting with Elf Agent X, reviewing logs of web activity on North Pole websites from the past year. Santa is very concerned and is waiting on a list of recommendations from North Pole Security to ensure safer operations online going forward. Sounds like we will have some things to announce there as well.
Santa also told me that the last time he called a Toyvember, which was last summer when the workshop was having so many problems, that many good ideas were submitted. Santa said he is fast tracking some of the ideas that came in from people around the world. He does not plan to call another Toyvember this year because he’s got so many things from the last one to follow up on. But it sounds like we have some exciting new toys coming for this Christmas!
We are also preparing for our traditional Easter activities next week at the North Pole. While the winter weather this year has been strange around the world it has been as predicted here at the North Pole, and we have had record levels of snow and ice. The prediction for weather on Easter is not good. So the events we are planning will be held indoors, including the Annual Easter Egg Roll. That will be held at the North Pole Events Center.
