Santa Declares a Surprise Toyvember

In a stunning development at the North Pole today Santa declared Toyvember effective immediately.

Toyvember is an event Santa only occasionally calls. It is a time set aside for the creation of new toys. Elves are given time off of work so they can return to their home workshops, workspaces and office to think of, design, and perfect new toys.

This is usually an activity that takes place during offseason months such as February, March and April. Santa has never declared a Toyvember during Christmas in July.

Starting today all elves at Santa’s workshop, at the Reindeer Barns, in the Sleigh Shop, at the North Pole Post Office, and the Wrapping Department have been sent home. Some elves in North Pole Flight Command and all tracker elves around the world have been asked to participate in Toyvember.

Select elves on the test flight teams of Santa’s sleigh, at Regional Tracking Centers around the world just now being made operational, and in other critical functions have been asked to stay working.

We do not know how long Toyvember will last or how this might impact Christmas in July events scheduled at the North Pole.
