11 Weeks Until Christmas

Greetings, friends! Just 11 weeks to go until Christmas. It’s an exciting time at the North Pole.

Countdown to Christmas

This is an unusual week of the year for me. Santa and Mrs. Claus left for Canada the other day and I’ve got this whole week with Mrs. Claus not here. I get to be a news elf for a week!

Not that I’m complaining. I love Mrs. Claus and working for her.

But my days are filled with meetings and taking care of problems that come to her.

She thought about taking me with her. She is concerned she will miss something by being gone this week. But Santa insisted that Mrs. Claus take this week to focus on her family. Besides, Santa has a couple of elves with him in case either one of them needs to know what’s going on at the North Pole.

So, here I am with the boss away and a bunch of news stories at the North Pole. I hope Elf Ed Zachary gives me a story to follow and report on.

But for now, I can tell you a few things I have been hearing about.

First of all, tracking Santa this year is going to be crazy. If you have not yet become an elf I seriously recommend you sign up soon. If you really want to know what’s going on at the North Pole and if you really want to help Santa, you need to track Santa for Santa by becoming an elf.

Second of all, these baby reindeer are just the cutest. I’m going over there after work every single day and I just want to take them home to cuddle all night long. Seriously, they make me so happy. I’m so glad them bring them to the North Pole when the reindeer return!

Baby Starla

This lil cutie is Baby Starla. Isn’t she adorable?

From what I can tell, all the adult reindeer are working really hard. Normally the yards at the Reindeer Barn would be full of exercising reindeer, all getting ready for the Reindeer Games. Those games are still a month away and I haven’t seen one reindeer even practicing for them yet.

That’s because between the Sleigh Department, the Flight Operations Department, Santa’s Workshop and North Pole Flight Command all the reindeer, and I do mean all of them, are busy helping with projects relating to the Crisis in Santa’s Workshop.

Are you following along with the news of that? They are making some good headway and I’m thinking that if things keep going well maybe the workshop crisis will be behind us a week or so before Christmas.

So settle down, all you little worry warts out there. Santa’s figuring this out!

Toodles.

Thank you, Elf Trixie! Wow, Christmas is coming very soon in 11 weeks! That’s bad you couldn’t go to Canada with Mrs. Claus. I hope everything around her is going well. On the other hand, you’re so lucky to take care of the adorable reindeer! I wish I could do it like you, some day. Thank you to all of the reindeer they work so hard. I hope they enjoy play reindeer games a lot. I look forward to hearing the next. Merry Christmas! 🎄🎅🤶🦌🛷🌟😊
