It is only early in the evening on December 23rd in India but already spotters there are checking in, very determined and excited to be working for Santa this year.
The team there of about 80 spotter elves are positioned at various locations within that large country. We expect to hear from a few of them later on during the radio broadcast.
Spotters are getting into position all over the world at this hour. They are sent there by the tracking department with equipment that is used to help accurately track Santa.
Their job is to watch for dangers and confirm the data sent from the sleigh.
