Elves Push Ahead at Santa’s Workshop

It is not unusual for Santa’s Workshop to be working so late. It has happened many times before.
But I just spoke to Elf Bernard, head guy over at the workshop. He just kind of threw up his hands. “The good news,” he said, “is that we have never produced at the level we are at right now. We’re setting records. The bad news is that it just might not be enough. We’re days behind, Ernest. I don’t know what more we can do.”
Santa remains unconcerned. In talking with him this morning he said, “It’ll turn out okay. Have faith.”
