Santa Launches in 24 Hours

Santa Launches in 24 Hours 1

Santa launches from the North Pole in just 24 hours. It will still be December 23rd in some parts of the world but for those west of the International Dateline in the deep South Pacific it will be December 24th.

Christmas Eve is when Santa flies.

Usually it takes Santa some time to get into position to deliver in Sector 1. Sector 1 is what we call the area known as Oceania – also known as the Pacific Rim. To fully understand we encourage you to visit this page from Elf University – a special part of SantaTrackers.net that teaches tracker elves how to be elves. They have to know and understand sectors, too.

Santa moves from sector to sector, in numerical order. He times his deliveries between 10pm and 4am. He will send out “bedtime advisories” ahead of his visits to each area, encouraging people to go to bed sometime between 8pm and 10pm.

But it all begins with his launch from the North Pole.

Thank you, Elf Harold. I’m reading the news remembering last week. I wish I could read on time. It was so much faster until “bedtime advisories” than I thought because of sending reports a lot this year! XD
