When our Tracking Santa Around the World radio show begins you will here some terms you may not know.

Trackers checking in now are getting ready to enter what we call The Red Zone. The Red Zone is a block of time designating Santa’s presence in his sleigh flying in a sector.

Sectors, of course, are what we call the five major areas of the world. It looks like this on the map:

Sectors

Knowing what time zone you’re in is vital in being able to help track Santa for Santa.

Whether you’re new to tracking Santa or an experienced hand, it is always good to study this information before Santa’s launch.

For more information about tracker elves and what they are doing right now, please listen to our North Pole Radio News report in the player above.
