10 Months Until Christmas

10 Months Until Christmas 1

Greetings, friends. Today marks 10 months until Christmas.

Christmas

Like all markers on the countdown to Christmas this is a big one. 10 months to Christmas is a time when we switch gears from last Christmas to next Christmas. The past two months have been all about looking at what we did last year, what worked, and what we learned from it all.

Now we look forward.

Some are a little frustrated with Santa right now because he hasn’t yet given his “message” to the elves for 2024. Many elves, especially those who have not yet met personally with Santa are feeling left out and wondering if there is something extra or more they need to be working on.

Well, I have met with Santa. And to my fellow elves out there I would say: relax.

Santa is happy. Santa is quiet because Santa is still listening. He was away much of the year last year because of walkabout and he’s absorbing what everyone has to say about how the year went.

Santa will start talking soon.

In the meantime, we continue to work of elves we have always known.

That work is going well.

Santa’s workshop is busy every day. No, they aren’t producing the special custom stuff of Christmas yet, but they are working on things they know that people will want.

As we shared with you last month, the reindeer have all gone home. I talked to Elf Victor and he says that word from Santa’s reindeer ranches around the world is that the reindeer are all enjoying their return and look forward to a long season of getting ready for next Christmas.

Plans are being discussed all over the North Pole. Every single department is lead by strong women and men who are dedicated elves. They live to please Santa and to serve you.

So work is happening, even if news of it is brief.

What can we anticipate in the month ahead?

Santa will be meeting with Elf Hugo at the North Pole Post Office. The past two months Santa’s office staff has been organizing and filing Santa’s mail. There have been millions of thank-you’s sent to Santa as well a new wish lists already received. Santa will be spending a lot of time reading it all and getting an idea of things that need to be done from all that feedback.

Will Santa finally say something to the elves?

I think so. Santa is purposefully staying quiet. He’s trying to find exactly the right thing to say.

When he does, you know the crack news department here at the North Pole will report on it.

Until next month, friends.

I’m curious about what Santa thought from the feedback and what he will tell us for the next Operation Merry Christmas! I’m delighted to help him for having merry Christmas to everyone around the world with all of the elves. So exciting! XD
