As rumored for weeks here at the North Pole and as predicted by Santa himself, the reindeer returned home to the North Pole in the dark of night.

Breaking News

This marks one of the earliest returns of reindeer ever to the North Pole.

Usually the reindeer return in late October or early November. Some years it is early, other years it might be later. To have them return during the month of August is extremely rare.

Nobody is complaining they are here. We are not suggesting that. But nobody really knows why they have returned home to the North Pole at this time.

For those that do not know, Santa sends the reindeer home to their native lands every winter. They spend time where they come from until it is Christmas again because Santa feels that is what is most healthy for them.

“The reindeer come from all over the world, just like people,” Elf Valerie Nichols, an assistant to Elf Victor in the Reindeer Operations Department said. “Gathering them isn’t the easiest thing to do. We don’t know why they are here so early. We are just glad they are here and they are safe.”

There is a much more “full” feeling to the North Pole with tens of thousands of reindeer now present.

Their arrival has cheered the North Pole population and elves here are quite excited.

Thank you, Elf Harold! Wow, the reindeer have already returned! Santa makes us happy, surprised, and excited! I’m curious about what the story is starting to spread about Merry Christmas to the world! XD

Oh my gosh this is earlier than September!
