8 Weeks Until Christmas

Ohmigosh! It’s 8 weeks until Christmas. Can you believe it?

Of course, it’s all about Halloween this week. That always is a big deal here, even if the snow is flying like it is February. Everything seems to stop for Halloween.

In my job in Mrs. Claus’ office I sometimes learn information I do not want to know.

And this week I know what Santa and Mrs. Claus are doing for Halloween.

They usually have some sort of theme that works for both their costumes. This year is definitely that way.

Everywhere I go people are BUGGING ME to tell them about what Santa and Mrs. Claus are going to be for Halloween. And of course everyone knows I can’t say a thing.

Nobody can say a thing about their costumes.

It’s suppose to be a secret. It’s a North Pole Halloween tradition. Nobody knows what you are until you get to the North Pole Halloween Party.

And, once you show up in your fabulous costume everyone has to guess WHO is inside the costume.

Sometimes that’s easy. Sometimes that is hard. It just depends.

It’s funny they ask me about Santa and Mrs. Claus. Thank goodness they aren’t asking what I’m doing for Halloween.

I’ll tell you though. I know you can keep my secret:

It’s Tuesday, Halloween is on Thursday, and I have no CLUE what I’m dressing up as for Halloween.

I have no plan, no inspiration, no idea whatsoever of what to do.

And that’s just me kids. But I have a good excuse.

My Trixie is coming home. She’s my reindeer, if you didn’t know. My fur baby, you could say.

She’s been flying on the test flight team since June and I haven’t had much of a chance to see her. And she gets to be here for 4 full days.

She is all I can think about.

Who cares about Halloween when Trixie is coming home?

It’ll be so good to be with her!
