The Thanksgiving Day Elf Parade at the North Pole is scheduled for Thanksgiving Day, November 28th, rain or shine. Well, snow or shine.

Elf Parade

The parade is a favorite activity of elves at the North Pole and elves around the world. The parade features local marching bands, parade floats from North Pole Departments and scores of individual elves who decorate their trikes, wagons, long boards, scooters, and bikes in Christmas colors.

The parade marches the length of Main Street in North Pole Village and up the big hill past a reviewing stand where Santa and Mrs. Claus watch with North Pole dignitaries.

The parade is just one of many events scheduled for Thanksgiving Day.

We invite fans and believers of Santa to join in the Elf Parade by dressing up as an elf and decorating your own favorite mode of transportation (it can even be a car). We hope you will share pictures of your parade costumes and decorations with others here on SantaUpdate.com.

Thank you, Elf Harold! Oh, that’s why they’ll be busy starting the parade: because of the turkey dinner! Is it dark there, even in the morning? I hope they go up to the hill safely. I think their costumes need some lights to make the parade safely, except hats. I hope Elf Crash and the committee can fix that. I’ll think about how to decorate my car. Elf Frank, I also want to know what Santa, Mrs. Claus, and the elves, including you, do for Thanksgiving. Merry Christmas! XD

Oh that’s nice
