Santa and Mrs. Claus Leave for Canada

Santa and Mrs. Claus left the North Pole today for their annual trip to Canada, where they celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving. Mrs. Claus has family there and they traditionally go there every October for Thanksgiving.

Reindeer Games at the North Pole

Some at the North Pole use this tradition as a marker of sorts for the upcoming season.

Upon their return the annual Reindeer Games begin and the celebrations of the fall season will have already started.

From what we can tell, this is the first break Santa has taken since his return to the North Pole last Christmas.

Who is in charge when Santa and Mrs. Claus leave on this traditional trip.

Well, really, no one is “in charge”. But all key elves in every department are on duty and tending to the business of Operation Merry Christmas.

Santa’s traditional staff of elves are with him. They always go on this trip with Santa and Mrs. Claus, due to the time of the year. Santa will have an administrative elf with him most of the time and they will quickly be able to reach Santa if a need arises.

Santa will continue to process his mail and handle other daily duties while he is on this trip.

Thank you, Elf Harold. It’s good to know that Santa and Mrs. Claus celebrate Thanksgiving in Canada. I’m curious about how many children and grandchildren they have; if they all are elves. I wish I could celebrate it with them someday. About the test sleighs, I’m a little confused about the “problem.” Is the cause of the sleighs or what they say, “It is a problem?” Lol. I know Santa has the reports and any information about the results of the test flights and others. I hope everything is going well. Merry Christmas! XD
