Weather Could Impact Thanksgiving

The wild winter weather continues at the North Pole. Elf Ernest, Elf Roger, and Elf Wally met via a video call with Santa today and they agreed that while the weather is serious it appears that Operation Merry Christmas is on track and that no changes need to be made.

Breaking News

The same cannot be said about plans for Thanksgiving Day celebrations.

As of right now, no decision has been made or announced about the Thanksgiving Day Elf Parade. For now, participants are being told to prepare for severe weather if they are still going to participate.

The annual Turkey Bowl has been relocated to an inside venue and the Christmas light contest is still listed as an active event.

However, officials at North Pole Village say they are continuing to monitor the situation and may have more to say about it tomorrow (Wednesday).

At North Pole Flight Command, some serious discussions are being held. It has been announced that the test pilot and reindeer teams assigned to the test flights of Santa’s sleigh will remain on duty, rather than returning to the North Pole as they usually do for Thanksgiving.

Flight operations at the North Pole sleigh port have slowed down considerably. Only sleigh pilots rated Level 5 or better are allowed to take off or land at the present time at the North Pole sleigh port. Safety first.

Only Santa and a handful of other elves are rated that highly.

Concerns for Santa’s return are mounting. There has been no change to his schedule to return to the North Pole on Wednesday evening.

For more on that situation please listen to the North Pole Radio News report in the player above.

Thank you, Elf Harold. I pray for Santa and other veteran pilots to fly and land smoothly and safely. Of course, stay safe flight is the first. Landing at night is dark and colder, so I hope Santa will land in the daytime while other flights are stopped. Thank you, all. Thank you, all the elves, for keeping Santa and the pilots safe. I also hope the test pilots and reindeer can break after Thanksgiving. ^^

Thanks for the update. Everyone stay safe. Happy Thanksgiving ❤️

Hopefully everything works out. Keeping everyone and all the reindeer safe is the main thing. Happy Thanksgiving ❤️
