What if the Reindeer Don’t Come Back?

In a sign that the North Pole is preparing for the return of Santa’s reindeer a large shipment of reindeer feed was received today at Santa’s Stables.
The Reindeer Barn has been completely cleaned and storage of feed, grooming and reindeer care supplies is starting to grow.
Nobody knows, of course, when the reindeer will return. They left, as Elf Trixie reported, during week 48 of the Christmas Countdown, way back in January.
Santa sends them back to their native lands until they return in advance of Christmas, which is usually some time in September or October. Some years they come a little earlier, some a little later.
Santa never really knows when they are coming back. It is just something they naturally do. He is just grateful they serve the way they do and that they always come back.
Elf Hugo at the North Pole Post Office reports that questions about the reindeer are streaming in via letters and messages to the North Pole. In fact, the most common question for Elf Crash to answer right now is this one: What if the reindeer don’t come back?
Elf Crash, in this radio news report with Elf Frank Myrrh, answers that question. Please listen to that report in the player above.

Thank you, Elf Harold! I’m curious when the reindeer retun to the North Pole, too. I heard the test flights have two teams this year and many reindeer had the audition. Elf Crash, do you know how they knew it? I hope Elf Frank will ask him in near future. I hope all of the reindeer are healther, happier, and can work well with Santa. Have a nice day and Merry Christmas! 🦌🛷🌟
