Thanksgiving for Santa and Mrs. Claus
Santa and Mrs. Claus will be taking a brief vacation in early October to celebrate Thanksgiving with relatives in Canada. Thanksgiving in Canada is celebrated on October 13th this year.
This is a traditional trip that Santa and Mrs. Claus take each year. Mrs. Claus’ family celebrates a traditional Thanksgiving, as most Canadians do, every October.
Santa and Mrs. Claus are expected to leave before October 10th and they will return on October 14th.
There have been some concerns voiced in local media that with the issues reported at Santa’s Workshop that maybe the trip for Santa and Mrs. Claus should be postponed or even cancelled this year.
Elf Joel, a staffer in the Office of Santa Claus, says he discussed it with Santa who dismissed the idea. Santa does not view the workshop issues as problematic at this time for going forward with Operation Merry Christmas.
If there are changes to the plans that Santa and Mrs. Claus have announced, we will let you know.

Thank you, Elf Harold! I hope Santa and Mrs. Claus will be visiting Canada for their tradition. I think the elves of Santa’s Workshop also want Santa and Mrs. Claus to have a wonderful time with their family. I wish I could help them with anything they want. I pray that everything is going well. Have a great day and Merry Christmas 🎅🤶🤞
