North Pole Post Office Announces Shout Outs
The North Pole Post Office has launched a new service this week called Shout Outs.
Shout Outs are a way for the North Pole Post Office to communicate with believers and allow them to see confirmation that a message, text or wish list sent to Santa has been received.
To use it, you would have to check quickly after sending in a text, email or wish list via SantaUpdate.com.
The system will show your submission immediately as it is received. Just go to the page, look up the particular message format you sent and you should yours listed.
Checking quickly is necessary because the page only shows the most recent 10 to 15 submissions. On high volume days those lists can move pretty fast.
The one area of the page that makes it interesting is the Shout Out portion of the page – which is information posted by staff elves in the North Pole Post Office Department. These are quick answers or acknowledgement of specific questions to specific users. Privacy laws prevent the North Pole from responding directly to believers online for minor site users but publicly and under guidelines we can post quick answers or statements to items or statements made via mail sent to the North Pole.
Check out the kinds of responses the North Pole Post Office is “shouting out” to those who send in messages.
Elf Hugo Slavia, postmaster at the North Pole Post Office, will be in North Pole Chat today to answer questions about the new Shout Out services and general questions about messaging Santa and the North Pole.
