The Difference Between an Email and a Wish List

With Elf Hugo of the North Pole Post Office to visit North Pole Chat today there is little doubt that one of the things to be discussed will be the difference between an email and a wish list for Santa.

Wish lists for Santa

A wish list goes to Santa but it gets processed by elves at the North Pole Post Office. They read your list and put it into a special program on North Pole computers tied to your profile.

Oh. You didn’t know they have a profile of you at the North Pole?

They do. Santa stores information at the North Pole Hall of Records about every believer. The Hall of Records shows not only who you are, how old you are, and where you live but also a list of everything Santa has ever brought you for Christmas.

Santa keeps track. He doesn’t want to repeat things he brings you and there is no way to remember other than to keep a record of it. So when you send in a wish list it is recorded and then Santa makes a decision, based upon what he can do and what he knows you already have, and then he directs elves to make the other things he wants to bring you or that you ask for.

That’s the wish list. An email is considered a personal communication between you and Santa. It goes directly to Santa’s office and Santa reads it first.

Now, yes, it’s true, some people in their email put their Christmas wishes in their messages they send to Santa by email. If that’s the case, Santa then directs that email to the wish list system. It just depends on what Santa decides.

The same thing is true of other messages to Santa like texts and voicemails.

Elf Hugo will talk in chat about why it is okay for you to change your mind about your wish list. He says it is very common for believers to do that, even at the last minute.

Santa understands. Even on Christmas Eve, you can change your mind in many cases. Just keep sending in your wish lists.

Thank you, Elf Harold, and Elves Frank and Crash! Wow, the elves at the North Pole Post Office read our wish lists first and put it in the profile each! They are so busy now! I think Santa also enjoys seeing a wish list what Elves Frank and Crash sent. I’m looking forward to seeing Elf Hugo and many people in the chat soon!
Enjoy December, and Merry Christmas! 📤✅🎅🌟😊
