This is an awkward part of Santa’s flight. He has to leave early enough to give himself time to deliver — but he has to wait for folks in the South Pacific to get to bed. Remember, it’s summertime there. Many there party into the night, some going to beaches to watch the skies for Santa. Flight Command is quite uncertain where Santa is headed next.
