There is so much work that goes into getting Santa around the world that a lot of people try to analyze his chances of success.

To me, that’s dumb. Santa has never failed to deliver. Ever.

But here we are, as we are every year, watching elves bet with sugar cookies at the North Pole Christmas party and listening to flight analysts talk about his odds of making it.

What a weird sport.
