Santa Energizes Operation Merry Christmas

Santa has energized the North Pole with his return home over the weekend. Every department at the North Pole is busy and will be stopping only to celebrate Halloween. Elves will stop working at noon on Halloween Day.

But reports of productivity are up everywhere. Elves cannot wait until the official countdown to Operation Merry Christmas begins on Wednesday.

Operation Merry Christmas famously kicks off on Thursday, November 23rd.

Although we work on Operation Merry Christmas all year long we countdown from Halloween to Thanksgiving for it because on Thanksgiving Night during a walkabout to look at the Christmas lights at the North Pole Santa will declare Operation Merry Christmas “active”.

That’s really a call to action. It’s a reminder that Santa’s flight is scheduled and that all needs to be done so that Santa can leave the North Pole on time. It is what we work for all year.

The countdown is talked about by Elves Frank and Crash in the latest North Pole Radio News report, which can be heard in the player above.

Thank you, Elf Harold. I hope all elves will have an exciting Halloween Party with Santa and Mrs. Claus. I’m curious about your costumes! Thank you, Elf Crash and Elc Frank. I hope Operation Merry Christmas is going smoothly and perfect! Our elves are always ready for it! Happy Halloween to everyone, and Merry Christmas! XD
