Happy Leon Day from the North Pole

Happy Leon Day from the North Pole, where it is exactly half way to Christmas. Just six months from today is Christmas Eve!
Why do we call this important marker “Leon Day”? Leon is noel spelled backwards. On this milestone day we do all kinds of things backwards to celebrate. We walk backwards, we talk backwards and we do all kinds of other goofy backwards things.
It’s a way to have fun.
But in all seriousness, this is a very important day on our countdown to Christmas. Santa asked all the elves to be back by this day from their vacations. We are supposed to be finished with the slower season so we can really get down to work.
Starting right now, you’ll see news coverage of everything Santa, Christmas and the North Pole. It all leads up to that magic moment on Christmas Eve when Santa heads into the skies in his sleigh.
Our North Pole news team will provide you with the news, stories and legendary things that happens in what we call Operation Merry Christmas.
Listen to this radio news report, fresh from North Pole Radio News, about what’s happening with Leon Day at the North Pole. Then come back daily between now and Christmas Eve to see what’s new!

Thank you, Elf Ernest! Happy Leon Day! I can’t believe it’s already been a half to Christmas Eve this year! I’m always glad to hear about the parade from Elves Frank and Crash! The marching band and the team of gymnast are so brave! I hope everything was okay after that. I wonder if they saw Santa there.
I look forward to hearing the next episode soon. Merry Christmas! 🎄🎉😆
Happy Leon Day! (Or should I say Yad Noel Yppah?) Hope everyone is ok after the parade!
